Worship Team

Our primary aim is to lead the congregation in worship to the One who is worthy of all our praise. It is vital that we understand that worship is not for us as a church but for God and God alone. As we grow as a church family together, it is important for us to become true worshippers, no matter what our musical style preference is.

The team consists of a band and choir, and these musicians tirelessly sacrifice their time and energy for this ministry within our church. These people are of all ages as we’re not primarily a youth organisation.

We are constantly trying out new and fresh ideas and also develop people in their musical abilities. It’s so encouraging to see new team members come on board, bringing their own creativity and unique style to the overall sound.

The team couldn’t function without our sound people, who are always unseen but who are as much a part of the team, as the folk upfront. Their commitment to the band set up and sitting at the sound desk during practices and services is an act of worship in itself.

We are always on the lookout for new recruits, so if you have a heart for worshipping God through song please feel free to contact me through this site. Also we are keen to develop the whole area of worship through drama and dance, which are equally important parts of the creative arts.
