Girls' Brigade
Motto: To Seek, Serve and Follow Christ
The Girls' Brigade Company is for girls aged between 3 and 18+. We meet in the Church halls on either a Friday or Tuesday evening.
The Explorer Section for girls aged 3 to 7 years, meets on a Friday from 5:30pm to 7pm, and the company section for girls aged 8 to 18+ meets on Tuesday from 7pm to 8:45pm.
Our programme is divided into 4 sections. Spiritual, Physical, Education and Service. We enjoy games, marching, dancing, aerobics, cookery and craft. To fulfil the Spiritual section, we follow a course that is set out be G.B Headquarters Spiritual Committee. As well as striving towards our G.B motto in all that we do, we also have lots of fun and laughter.
An important, part of our programme for girls aged 14 and over, is the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. We encourage all young people in the Church to take part in this worthwhile scheme, whether they are G.B members or not – young gentlemen are especially welcome, when it comes to Expeditions.
If you are aged between 3 and 18 years you will be most welcome to join us in Ballywillan G.B, and if you, as an adult, feel you would like to be part of our organisation either as a potential leader or as a helper for a short time, please do get in touch.

Verse of the Day
“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.”
