Bible class has 50 teenagers attending every Sunday but we should have more. Where are you? BC
uses small classrooms but over the past year we have had more corporate fellowship because the
Sunday school kindly let us use the Youth Room.
In the spring of 2009 Jan and Jamie Eyre shared their real life experiences in Afghanistan. They made
us really think about being a teenager there and how restricted our life would be.
We have had DVD’s with accompanying questions, films, short talks, interactive classes, music, use of
the Grid SU material, plus student led study and straight forward bible study.
The young people have really enjoyed and learned from these experiences. Beach games and a BBQ
were held at the Whiterocks last May, the sun was strong, the air warm and the water wet!!!!
Class arrangements have changed. Year 8 & 9 girls are together as are year 8 & 9 boys. There is one
mixed year 10. Years 11 & 12 are together using the youth room. There are 4 young people from year
13 &14. We have a great team of teachers who need your prayer support. Three teachers stepped
down last year, thank you, we really appreciated your dedication and work. Four men joined our
team in September.
Help is always appreciated, if you could teach and allow our staff a break or cover for sickness or are
willing to share your faith or an event in your life, please contact me; Christine Dunlop 70822478

Verse of the Day
“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.”
