The Bowling Club meets in the Church Hall on Wednesday and Friday evenings at 7.30 pm and also on Wednesday afternoons from 2.00 to 4.00 pm.
We have currently 38 members - 17 ladies and 21 men - including 1 new member who joined us this past year. We are always pleased to welcome new members whether beginners or ‘experts’.
The Club participates in the Coleraine and District League (Section 2) and finished in third place missing second place by ½ point. Individual members also play in the Coleraine & District Cup competitions. Presently we are in fourth place. We also took part in the Charity Cups and Portrush Community Cup where funds are raised for local charities.
This year we again had a Christmas Competition and friendly matches with other local clubs. Our Annual Dinner will be held in the Magheraboy Hotel where we enjoy a very pleasant meal followed by the presentation of the Club Trophies and entertainment.
Thanks are due to our catering ladies, mat rollers and office bearers who so willingly give of their time.
The Office Bearers for the current year are:
Captain Elizabeth Gaston
Vice Captain Robin Semple
Secretary Hal Stewart
Treasurer Ernie Henderson
Match Secretary Graham Lowe
Competition Secretary Trevor Gaston

If you would be interested in joining the bowling club, or simply want to get to know some new faces, you will be most welcome to come along and join us on Wednesday or Friday evenings, or speak with any of our current members who will gladly answer any questions.

Verse of the Day
“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.”
